The Gen Con 2016 in Indianapolis, Indiana is a four day convention, where players of roleplaying games, board games, and card games congregate for events, activities, and tournaments. Originally founded in 1968 by gamer Gary Gygax, Gen Con started as a war game convention in Wisconsin. Over the years, it has changed its location various times, including internationally, until it settled in Indianapolis as its permanent location. The convention has taken place in Indianapolis since 2003.
This year’s Gen Con 2016 will feature entertainers such as Dan the Bard, Marooned, and Apryl Knight. In addition to music, Gen Con will feature artist Tyler Jacobson, who will be exhibiting his artwork. There will also be a costume parade and an opportunity for contestants to enter their costume for a chance to win prizes. There will be painting contests and an auction to bid on gaming merchandise. For a small fee, there will also be opportunities to play various games, such as role playing games, computer games, and card games for all ages. So, join us at the biggest gaming convention in the world for fun and games!
